June Andrews burial

On March 28, we said goodbye to Craig's mom, June Andrews. She was 6 days short of her 97th birthday and had lived a good life. Still, it is always hard to say goodbye to your mother and it seemed an especially hard thing to me that Craig and Mardyne had to deal with this in addition to the already heavy burdens they were carrying. Even still they did a beautiful job with the graveside service and the weather was beautiful, just like on the day we buried dad. It seems as if Craig and Mardyne do not even have the window of time to mourn the loss as they have Ryan's children to raise and it is a full-time effort. I was especially grateful that Jon had driven up for it. It meant a lot to me.
