Jan 31-Jon and Sarah came up. We met Craig & Mardyne and went x-country skiing on my favorite Beaver Creek trail to the sink hole and Utah/Idaho border sign. Craig and Mardyne haven't skied in 30 years! It was a perfect day. Craig made it about 1/2 way and because Mar was feeling so sick as she always does when she does anything physical, we figured she would head back too. We had only been to the sign for about 5 minutes when we spotted Mardyne coming up the trail. I was so proud of her. The snow was really fast and with my newly waxed skies, going back wasplenty exciting for me. We had lunch watching the skiers at Beaver mountain.
Feb 2-Mom had her annual Super bowl party at her house. It was new New England Patriots vs the Seattle Seahawks. We were all rooting for the Sea Hawks because our home boys Robert Turbin and Bobby Wagner play on that team. It was exciting right to the last second but our guys fell short 28-24. It was a blast being with mom, Craig, Mardyne, Sarah and Jon and really all about Food and Family.
