Mood Swings

Mood Swings Band is born-

After almost 2 years of looking for a new band, Karen found Colleen Gordin, right in Logan! She was playing a solo gig and Karen was at the event. She went up to her after and talked her into coming and jamming with us. I dragged my bass and amp out of storage and plugged them in. We were all so excited and nervous. Karen will be on drums, me on bass, Colleen on guitar, harmonica and vocals and my sister Mardyne on keyboard and vocals. The first practice was an absolute blast. We miss our Hot Flashers terribly but Colleen is great and definitely has her own musical style. She has played with several bands and is very talented. We had 5 songs down in one session. Mardyne bought a keyboard and played it tonight for the first time. Now all we want to do is play. We are counting the minutes til the next practice. It's good to be able to fill my basement up with band equipment again. I'm so excited to learn a whole new set of songs. What fun we are going to have!
